The Norwegian Shipowners' Association's Annual Conference 2025

Tuesday April 1st 2025 // Sentralen, Øvre Slottsgate 3, Oslo

  • 1. april 2025
  • Sentralen, Øvre Slottsgate 3, Oslo

The Norwegian Shipowners' Association's Annual Conference will delve into the critical interplay between geopolitics, climate action, and the pivotal role of shipping in ensuring security and societal preparedness.

Political tensions are reshaping global trade, maritime routes, and regulatory frameworks. Shipowners are navigating a landscape filled with both risks and opportunities, often in uncharted waters. Geopolitical shifts not only impact the stability and security of international shipping but also shape the industry's responsibility in addressing these challenges.

The urgency of decarbonizing shipping and reducing emissions has reached new heights amid mounting pressure from international regulators, investors, and public opinion. The conference will explore how the industry can adapt to shifting alliances, geopolitical unrest, and evolving security demands, all while contributing significantly to global climate objectives.

Attendance is by invitation only.
