More than 400 participants were expected to attend the conference which brings together speakers, business leaders, ambassadors and decision-makers from several countries.
"Life and health must come first. Our members own and operate large international companies and we don’t want to do anything that could increase the risk of spreading the corona virus. We also think it’s important for our members to spend valuable time on operating their businesses in a difficult time for our industry," says CEO at the Norwegian Shipowners’ Association, Harald Solberg.
The Norwegian Shipowners Associations general assembly is still scheduled to be held on 31st of March using digital solutions. The traditional dinner after the general meeting has also been cancelled.
