Global shipowners body sets out industry principles to combat harassment and bullying

21 February, the ICS (international Chamber of Chipping) addressed the very important issue to prevent bullying and harassment onboard ships in the international fleet.

In this regard a new guidance with principles where released - available here.

Next week, Tuesday 27 - Thursday 29 February, the joint ILO/IMO tripartite working group to identify and address seafarers’’ issue and the human element which include consideration of future steps to avoid bulling and harassment including sexual assault and sexual harassment will gather in IMO in London.
