Circular Cleanup - new project for a cleaner ocean

More than 200 people attended when the Circular Cleanup project was presented at Vippa in Oslo on 13 March. In the innovation project, the Norwegian Shipowners' Association and WWF have worked together with 16 other players to develop new solutions for cleaner and plastic-free seas.

The collaboration is unique in view of the breadth of the value chain, the strong professional environment and a common ambition to solve the challenge of plastic in the sea.

By combining core expertise in ocean and coast monitoring, with technology developers and digitization and waste management, the Circular Cleanup project have found new solutions for more efficient cleanup in cities, on the coast and on a global scale.
