13 trainees, mentors and contacts from the companies, as well as representatives from the Norwegian Shipowners' Association, met on a kick-off on 8 May.
Project managers Erik Jacobsen and Christian Mellbye from Menon Economics gave the trainees information about the program. The five modules take them to Oslo, Sunnmøre, Bergen, Singapore and London, where they will undergo professional programs covering the energy sector, industry and digitalization, insurance and maritime law.
"This year's program covers major developmental trends such as technology, digitization, climate and energy. This will permeate the industry in the coming years”, said Mellbye.
