Together with partners DNV GL, Kongsberg and Statoil, the Norwegian Shipowners’ Association launched the Arctic Business Council with the purpose to involve the international business community in a coordinated dialogue on the future of the Arctic. The main goal is to create action from discussions among high-level decision makers from various industries and countries
Among this year’s participants are Clay Williams, National Oilwell Varco (USA); Tom Bolt, Lloyds of London; Weng Sun Wong, SembCorp Marine; Kristian Siem, Siem Industries and Subsea7; Anette Malm Justad, Store Norske Spitsbergen Kullkompani and Espen Barth Eide, World Economic Forum.
The Arctic Business Council provides an exclusive, “for business, by business”, international meeting place for high-level business executives representing different industries operating - or with an interest - in the Arctic.
