Helene is the Executive Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Climate. She has the overarching responsibility for the Norwegian Shipowners’ Association’s international engagement and climate activities, with special focus on monitoring international climate processes and our participation in the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS). 

Helene joined the Norwegian Shipowners’ Association in 2012 having previously spent six years in Brussels working on EU political affairs. She has a Political Science degree from Bath University in England and Charles University in the Czech Republic. She completed the Norwegian Defence College’s executive leadership programme Autumn 2022.
