Gabrielle is Executive Director of the Department of Politics and Communication. The department is responsible for the Norwegian Shipowners' Association's policy work and strategic and operational communications. Gjerdset handles press enquiries. 

Gabrielle has a Master in History from the University of Oslo and a BA in European Studies from the same university and Sciences Po Lyon, France. She worked previously for a communications agency and has held a number of voluntary roles inNGOs and student organisations.
